Jenny Wedesky joined Hemson in early 2019 and is a member of the firm’s municipal finance practice. Jenny previously worked in a municipal finance position at York Region where she focused on development charges and property tax policy. She also worked as an economics and finance specialist at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario’s research service.
Jenny graduated from McGill University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and English Literature. She then graduated from the University of Toronto in 2016 with a Master’s degree in Public Policy. During her graduate degree she edited the program’s academic policy journal and did a forest economics internship with the provincial government.
Jenny lives in the Junction neighbourhood of Toronto and enjoys baking bread, camping and reading.
