Jaclyn Hall joined Hemson Consulting Ltd. in 2014 after graduating with honours with a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (BURPl) from Ryerson University. In 2018, she completed her Masters of Planning (MPlan) at the University of Guelph where she specialized in climate change policy at the municipal level. Jaclyn is a Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and is a Registered Professional Planner.
Jaclyn’s main areas of expertise includes municipal finance (e.g. development charge studies), growth management policy (e.g. growth management strategy, planning policy implementation and land needs assessment) and climate change. Jaclyn has also assisted with several Ontario Land Tribunal (formally the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal and Ontario Municipal Board) hearings where she represented municipal clients. She is a dedicated, continuous leaner. She has also co-authored a publication for Plan Canada on funding mechanisms for building transit in Ontario.
After living in Toronto for over a decade, Jaclyn recently moved to downtown Burlington. When she has the opportunity, Jaclyn enjoys travelling and exploring new cities. During the summer, she likes to spend her time at her family’s cottage in Lake Erie.
