Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Adam Mattinson supports both the firm’s planning and finance practices. Since joining Hemson in 2015, he has developed a broad range of expertise in the areas of long-range land use planning, economic development, policy impact assessment and the application of land value capture tools, while also supporting municipal clients at the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT).
Adam is a Registered Professional Planner and Member of the Canadian Institute of Planning, in addition to being a Professional Land Economist. He holds a Masters in Planning from Ryerson University, and a Bachelor of Arts for Political Science from the University of British Columbia, with a minor in Commerce.
He is an avid outdoors-person and hockey fan who enjoys spending his free time trail running, biking, and exploring new neighbourhoods to find new culinary experiences.
