Hemson has extensive experience in the area of municipal provision of Infrastructure Financing & Planning services. This experience focuses on the financial aspects of the provision of the full range of waste management functions: collection, diversion, and disposal. Hemson has provided expert advice in the areas of landfill site selection, landfill site valuations and other waste management studies. Among our recent work includes:

• Alternative landfill site evaluations in York and Peel Region and the City of Toronto
• Environmental assessment for the Adam’s Mine proposal
• Impact of regionalization of waste management services in the City of Ottawa
