Environmental Assessment for a proposed new or expanded international
border crossing over the Detroit River between Michigan and Ontario in or
near Detroit and Windsor. Hemson is preparing an Economic Impact Analysis
that will assess the major economic implications within the broad study area
as well as the potential effects on the local economy and businesses. The
entire EA process will last 3 years with the ultimate goal of providing a new or
expanded crossing to provide for the safe, efficient and secure movement of
people and goods across the Canadian-U.S. border in the Detroit River area.
