Patrick Barbieri
GIS Specialist
Patrick Barbieri joined Hemson in 2006 as part of the firm’s vacancy verification practice and in this capacity assisted the City of Toronto with processing tax rebates for vacant commercial and industrial properties. He currently leads the firm’s graphics and data management operations as well as the Vacancy Verification practice. Patrick is also responsible for all Geographical Information Systems (GIS) work at Hemson.
Patrick completed the Real Property Assessment and Administration Program at Seneca College after three years study at the University of Western Ontario studying a variety of subjects. He is a member of the Institute of Municipal Assessors and is planning on becoming a member of the Professional Land Economists. He also attends Stats Canada and ESRI workshops regularly.
Patrick lives in downtown Toronto and walks to work every day. In his free time, Patrick enjoys relaxing by the pool with family and friends. In 2010, he and a group of friends cycled around Lake Ontario in 5 days and in 2011 he cycled to NYC in support of Parkinson’s research. He also enjoys playing golf, rowing, and travelling.
