Fred Koenig
Partner
Fred Koenig is a Partner at Hemson and has more than 30 years of experience in municipal finance, both as a consultant and as a senior finance official in the public sector. He is highly regarded by municipalities for his expertise in examining the long-range financial impacts of various municipal services as well as growth management strategies for the full range of municipal services.
Fred received his Bachelor of Arts in Economic Geography from the University of Michigan and his Masters in Economic Geography from the State University of New York where he also undertook Ph.D. studies. He is a member of the Municipal Finance Officers’ Association of Ontario. Fred and his family call the Riverdale community of Toronto home. In his spare time he enjoys golf, carpentry and gardening.
